meet Jazmyne Simmons

Founder and principAL designer

Jazmyne Simmons is the Founder and Principal Designer of Jazmyne Design Studio, a boutique interior design firm specializing in full-scope design in Washington, D.C. Her journey to design wasn’t a straight path, but every step was deliberate, from architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, through a deep dive into interiors, to exploring the nuances of product design. Her thoughtfully diverse background shapes her approach today, crafting spaces that are intuitive, functional, and effortlessly beautiful.

In 2022, Jazmyne founded her studio with a singular goal: to help clients tell their stories through thoughtful design. She is a multi-disciplinary creative and advocate driving authentic, transformative design across interiors and products. From Modern Luxury’s Top 100 Faces of Design in the Mid-Atlantic to a scholar of Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women in Business Program in partnership with NYU Stern, to being named to the 2026 Hot Talent Cohort for Home & Design Magazine, she brings a unique perspective to every team, project, and space she’s involved in. Her ability to empower everyone who comes into contact with her, distill complex information and moving parts, and never lose sight of results and impact is what she’s known for.
